The teardrop sauna has maintained a 6' diameter for 50% of the sauna (so it is still very easy to heat) but has increased the center height to a generous SEVEN feet for the tall people.

To keep your feet out of the mud, just ask for a floor extension. We will increase TEN of the bottom staves a full 24 inches and add another cedar cradle as shown here.

If you would like a top overhang, we will extend 8 or 10 staves along the top of the sauna as shown. This will help stop the rain and snow from falling in front of the door.

Because of the additional height we were able to move the bench on 1 side up to the center of the sauna height. This increases the heat as well as the width of this bench. Lay right out as the inside is a full 7' in length.

The bench on the other side can be at the standard height (as shown here) or higher or lower based on what the owner wants.
